ROECKL VILLACH 3 LOBSTER Winter Cycling Gloves

With the VILLACH 3 LOBSTER cycling gloves by ROECKL SPORTS you can brave the elements even when riding your bike on really cold days. The glove keeps your fingers together in one “mitten” for even better protection from the cold, but without sacrificing a flexible operation of the shift and brake levers. In addition, the glove features a PRIMALOFT Gold Cross Core insulation with aerogels. Aerogels from the aerospace industry are highly porous structures with very low density that are composed of more than 95% of air. The advantage for gloves: a top ratio of volume to weight to thermal performance. Windproof WINDSTOPPER by GORE-TEX LABS on the back of the hand creates a reliable barrier against cold draughts. And to keep the heat inside the glove and ensure a perfect fit, it comes with a long knitted cuff and an elastic wrist strap.
Elastic, breathable ROECK-GRIP synthetic leather on the palm provides a non-slip, highly tactile yet comfortable grip on the bars. The foam padding on the palm enhances comfort, just like the seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION thumb padding. A wipe thumb made from soft WINDSTOPPER by GORE-TEX LABS and the TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE function top off this cycling glove, making it your ideal companion for icy winter days.

Highlights & Technologies:

WINDSTOPPER by GORE-TEX LABS:
This is a completely windproof and reliably breathable material on the back of the hand.
Conclusion: GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER is a great addition to the existing GORE-TEX brand for those times when comfort and functionality matter more than waterproofness. The WINDSTOPPER properties also provide excellent protection from the wind.

PRIMALOFT:
As an ultra-fine microfibre insulation material, PRIMALOFT is ideal for cold-weather and all-season clothing. The fibres are also incredibly soft, lightweight and highly compressible for a small pack size. PRIMALOFT is wind-resistant, breathable and offers excellent water-repellent properties. Once it is wet, it dries extremely fast. However, even when wet, PRIMALOFT retains its insulating properties and thus ensures a comfortable, dry and warm feeling in almost any kind of weather. PRIMALOFT quality grades range from Premium to Basic, available in Gold, Silver and Black variants, as well as in various other functional variants.

ROECK-GRIP:
Non-slip and fine polyurethane material – smooth, breathable and elastic.

COMFORT INNOVATION:
For extra comfort, Roeckl has equipped the sensitive crook of the thumb, which is particularly stressed when cycling, with a seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION padding.

ERGONOMIC CUT:
The sensitive nerves running through the carpus are subject to strong, punctual pressure in most hand positions when cycling. The ERGONOMIC CUT developed by ROECKL provides targeted relief for the sensitive hand nerves and thus effectively prevents pressure. The anatomic palm padding provides much more comfort on the handlebar.

TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE:
Index and thumb of both gloves are made from a special leather or textile fabric, allowing you to operate smartphones, tablets and other touchscreen devices.

RAIL FINGER CUT:
Slightly pre-shaped fingers where the material has been pulled over the fingertips to provide extra protection and also improve fit and durability.

Note:
The reflective design elements attached to the clothing as decoration do not represent a personal protective equipment as mentioned in EU regulation 2016/425. Thus, they are also not covered by the provisions of the regulation.
