Maxxis Minion DHF TR EXO+ 3C MaxxTerra MTB Folding Tyre

For over 20 years, the MAXXIS Minion DHF has been one of the defining gravity tyres in the modern mountain bike sector. The tread pattern is designed for precise turn-in behaviour, high directional stability and controlled cornering. It is used most commonly as a front tyre.

Large side knobs offer high lateral support even in aggressive corners, while the open tread pattern supports traction and control on dry, loose and technical trails. This makes the Minion DHF suitable for a wide range of use, from demanding trail rides to fast enduro lines.

In this version, the Minion DHF combines EXO+ Protection with the 3C MaxxTerra rubber compound for aggressive all-mountain and enduro use with a focus on balanced traction, control and rolling behaviour in technical terrain.

Technologies:

• EXO+ PROTECTION
EXO+ Protection is based on a 60-TPI casing with an abrasion-resistant rubber coating. The construction is complemented by a reinforced EXO protective layer on the sidewalls and an additional butyl insert above the tyre bead. As a result, the construction is designed for aggressive trail riding, enduro use and the requirements of modern E-MTBs.

• 3C MaxxTerra
3C MaxxTerra is a triple rubber compound from MAXXIS for trail and enduro use. The compound combines low rolling resistance with a set-up designed for grip and traction and is positioned between 3C MaxxSpeed and 3C MaxxGrip. Within the MAXXIS range, 3C MaxxTerra is the golden mean for trail use.

• TUBELESS READY [TR]
In the MAXXIS range, Tubeless Ready [TR] refers to tyres with a construction that is designed for tubeless use with a sealant, a compatible tubeless rim or matching rim tape. The system enables lower air pressures and is intended to improve traction and ride quality, while reducing the rolling resistance. In addition, minor damages can be sealed directly by the sealant, which reduces the risk of breakdowns.
