MAVIC COSMIC SL 45 Disc Centerlock 28“/700C Road Rear Wheel SHIMANO HG

The MAVIC COSMIC SL 45 road system wheel impresses with its exceptional versatility.
The 45 mm rim profile of the elegant carbon rim of the COSMIC SL 45 ensures outstanding aerodynamic properties without compromising on stability in crosswinds and stiffness.

The interaction of the Infinity hub design and the 2-cross aero spokes also results in less air resistance and allows you to reach higher speeds with less effort on the road. The use of a single spoke length also makes maintenance easier.
The double-sealed industrial bearings with self-adjusting bearing preload (QRM Auto) ensure very efficient power transfer and very smooth running. And as if that wasn't enough, the oversized, non-contact rubber seal of the Instant Drive 360 freewheel system reduces internal friction and thus ensures even greater efficiency.

The COSMIC SL 45 also offers trouble-free tubeless compatibility thanks to MAVIC UST Tubeless Ready technology. As a result, the wheel not only contributes to improved puncture protection, your ride is also more comfortable and smoother thanks to the option of riding with slightly reduced air pressure.
This gives you an exemplary all-round wheel.

Top technologies:
• Infinity hub design: Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised non-contact spoke lacing and tension distribution.
• QRM Auto (Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto): Smooth-running, double-sealed and maintenance-free industrial bearings with high dimensional accuracy and self-adjusting bearing preload.
• ID 360 Instant Drive: A lightweight and low-friction Dual Ratchet freewheel system for explosive propulsion and reliable power transmission.
• UST tubeless technology: The MAVIC standard for tubeless tyres not only improves traction, comfort and rolling resistance, but also reduces the risk of tyre punctures.
