DT Swiss ARC 1400 Dicut® DB 50 Carbon Aero Road Front Wheel 28"/700C

The DT Swiss ARC 1400 Dicut® DB 50 carbon front wheel for road bikes with disc brakes impresses with good aerodynamics and perfect all-round qualities!
The aero wheel is predestined for varied and narrow courses that require excellent handling, as well as for fast and demanding stages with greater differences in altitude.

The 50 mm deep aero rim combines high stiffness and a low weight. The leading component technology by DT Swiss and SWISS SIDE’s know-how in aerodynamics give the aero all-round wheel unparalleled control and aero stability. In moderate crosswinds, the ARC 1400 system wheel lets you benefit from acceleration through the sail effect as well as a stable aerodynamic position with full control over your bike.

Whether in competitions or on a relaxed training ride.
The wheel not only impresses with its medium-high AERO+ profile rim. High-quality DT Swiss aero spokes and the lightweight 240 Dicut® aero hub round off the first-class construction of the carbon wheel. Excellent tubeless compatibility provides less weight, improved puncture resistance, lower rolling resistance and more comfort when equipped with tubeless tyres.

Technologies:

• AERO+:
The symbiosis of air resistance, handling and efficiency. – The optimisation of the wheel aerodynamics by DT Swiss in cooperation with SWISS SIDE reduces rotational and air resistance for low-friction acceleration and controlled steering behaviour in crosswinds. In combination with a larger inner rim dimension for wider tyres, rolling resistance is also reduced. Traction and comfort are enhanced by the wide contact patch.

• TUBELESS:
All DT Swiss wheels are tubeless ready. The profiles of the DT Swiss rims are specially designed for tubeless use. The rim profile makes it easier to fit the right tyre and ensures a perfect fit. The tubeless system of the rim consists of DT Swiss tubeless ready tape for sealing and a DT Swiss tubeless valve in a length that complies with the rim. When using tubeless ready tyres, a compatible sealant must be used. However, it is also possible to use a conventional combination of tyre and inner tube.

• BEARINGS:
Having learned from years of experience, DT Swiss only uses durable cartridge bearings without bearing play adjustment. DT Swiss hubs are designed to have the optimum axial and radial bearing play when they are properly installed. The correct preload of the bearings to compensate for the clamping force of the wheel mounting system is the basis for a play-free hub with minimum friction.
